Fiji

This is an old cartoon I hold dear but it delivers little relevance now ( which is actually a very good thing considering ). Nevertheless, I wish to publish it here anyway for several reasons.

It's a take on one of the military coups Fiji has had to endure over the years - unfortunately, a rather violent one in this case where bullets flew and people were hurt. I'm not one to make political commentary very often but because Fiji is such a wonderful country, a great part of my upbringing, and the fact it was just such a sad and unordinary circumstance, I felt the urge to have my say the only way I know how - humour.

This picture is also one of the first cartoons I coloured on the computer - you can tell by the overly vibrant colour but hey, that's Fiji.
